About RC Design Guitars



			Brian Heflen has experience with the music industry in many different areas. As a guitar player for over 15 years he is proficient in several styles of music. He graduated from Metro State University in 2002 with his BA in classical guitar performance. In marketing and sales, Brian has worked a few years in retail music and has been a sales representative for several guitar lines. In live production, he toured for two years with the Grateful Dead














			Rick’s love of guitar creation dates back to forty years of artistic endeavors, including building and racing motorcycles on the Grand National circuit. He has twenty-five years experience as a machinist/ tool and die maker for top firms including Hewlett Packard and General Dynamics.He began as a retail repair and custom building shop in 1998. Rick’s interest in creating his own designs was sparked by his dissatisfaction with the design of modern guitars he has no desire to manufacture“clones” but to design unique bracing patterns and construction methods along with a great look to the instruments.
